I can’t tell if your TV can play h265 with Direct play (meaning that the TV has inbuilt support for h265). I don’t have Plex on LG so I am not familiar with that but probably you should be able to connect directly with the IP to the server as well if nothing else works. Note that your server and your TV should be logged in to the same Plex account so make sure to check that they are. Even my local devices (like my Samsung TV) uses my account to connect to the server, makes authorizations a lot easier once you have a device connected to your account. This is also the way invited friends can connect to your server and you to them. If you would like to connect to your server remotely, say from mobile device, your account is the point that connects your device to your server. The paid one gives you some extras but basic functionality is still very good.
